Jerry Lee Lewis Ink Portrait

This portrait of Jerry Lee Lewis was created entirely with bottled ink using ink wash techniques. The piece includes the word rowdy hidden in his hair to reflect his bold, energetic personality. Working only in ink was a major challenge because the medium is unforgiving, especially when capturing facial features and subtle values. Through careful layering and controlled washes, I was able to create depth, expression, and a dynamic representation of his character.
